About Us

History

The 248 Growth Partners investment team has a long and successful investment history in private capital markets. The team has been actively involved in private company investments for more than 50 years on a collective basis, with significant experience investing in successful growth-stage companies across a broad range of industries and sectors.

In 2019, we raised our first fund for wholesale investors. This fund was fully deployed across 13 portfolio company investments and is now in its realisation stage. In 2021, we raised our second investment fund attracting significant demand from new and existing investors. This fund is also fully deployed and is in its growth and realisation phase.

Reflecting our growth and progression as private capital investors in Australia, we relaunched the firm as 248 Growth Partners in 2024.

We employ a common investment strategy across our funds, focusing on delivering superior returns to investors by supporting high-quality founder-led businesses.

Investment Team

The investment team is led by Directors and Portfolio Managers Jonathan Pearce and Christian Jensen. Supporting them are Investment Manager, Joseph Lee and Analyst, Ethan Gill.

The team has a deep network resulting in access to a significant number of investment opportunities in growth-stage private and public companies.

Members of the investment team are invested alongside unitholders, and they have material personal investment in the investment vehicles they manage.
